More RFQ releases coming this summer! - 4/4/2016

RFQ has found a new love!  The love of recording and creating textural soundscapes in the studio.  In 2013, we released our debut EP "Released From Quiet" that we recorded, Jay Pinto mixed, and mastered by RFI in Seattle.  Our next studio release just happened Jan 29, 2016 with "Purgatory Street" where we took the next step and recorded and mixed ourselves and mastered by RFI.

We are taking our studio experience and ramping it up.  It is a time consuming (but enjoyable) experience recording an EP and the releases can be years apart.  So many new songs are being composed and want to be recorded.  The idea came to us to start releasing digital singles every couple months so we can stay fresh in the studio and fresh in your minds and ears.

Our first of many digital singles will release this May 1st.  It's called "Stormacomin".  It's big, it's powerful, it's our anti-establishment song... Stay tuned :)

Purgatory Street - Hits the street! - 3/2/2016

Purgatory Street EP on its way! - 1/10/2016

Got the jittery antsy shaky leg feeling because the art work for our Purgatory Street EP is done, looks great and the CDs are being pressed now! So all we can do now is wait until the last week of the month and then off to play some shows!

More news coming...

UPDATE! The BDAC's new Monitors! - 12/16/2013

A BIG THANK YOU! .. to all who gave, shared, talked up the campaign to raise funds for the Black Dog Arts Coalition in Snoqualmie, WA. The campaign was successful in raising enough funds to purchase two new Mackie Thump stage monitors and the necessary cables, etc. to bring a great full sound to the Black Dog stage!   Generous donations were received from as far away as Michigan! and from many local area arts supporters.  The monitors have been in use for a few weeks and the sound at "The Dog" has never been better.  As has been said: "many hands make light work" ~ our coupla sets of hands are coming together in applause for all of YOU!
